We're sharing something personal when we hand you a voice diary, so here's what "GDPR-first" actually means for BeeCrumbs, in plain English. For the full legal detail, see our Privacy Policy; for how using the app works, see our Terms of Service.
BeeCrumbs Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales, is the "data controller" โ the organisation legally responsible for deciding how your data is used and protected. You can reach us at info@beecrumbs.com.
| Right | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| See it | Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. |
| Fix it | Ask us to correct anything that's wrong or out of date. |
| Delete it | Delete your account in-app, or ask us to, and we'll erase your data (short safety window aside). |
| Pause it | Ask us to temporarily stop processing your data in certain situations. |
| Take it with you | Get your data in a format you can move to another service. |
| Say no | Object to certain uses of your data, or withdraw consent at any time. |
| Not be a number | You won't be subject to purely automated decisions with serious effects on you โ matching only ever suggests, you always decide. |
To use any of these, just email info@beecrumbs.com. We'll get back to you within a month, as the law requires.
Your data is stored and processed by us and by a small number of trusted service providers who help us run BeeCrumbs โ for example, cloud hosting, and an AI provider that helps analyse themes in your entries. We're finalising exactly who these providers are before launch, and we'll keep our full Privacy Policy updated with the details, including any safeguards used if data is processed outside the UK.
Talk to us first โ info@beecrumbs.com โ and we'll do our best to sort it. You can also complain to the UK's independent regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
